Chapter 7: shadows and tall trees

After Jack and Ralph left me with the littluns, they went to look for the beast but

ended up hunting for pigs. Ralph tried to kill the pig, then Robert pretended to be a

pig. Everyone crowded around him. They sang, "Kill the pig, cut his throat, bash him in!!".

Everyone was so excited after and wanted to start killing again.After, Robert whined

that Jack actually wanted to kill something for real, so he suggested a littlun

because they are useless. This foreshadows that a boy in the tribe might be in danger

and also that Jack is really into killing things. Th boys then hunted more of the

beast, they went to castle rock with spears in their hands. When they got there,

Jack chose to go by himself. He came back and was panicking. They went together this

time and saw something on a rock. The dead pilots body turned and the face looked at

them. They believed that it was alive and it was the beast. They believed it because

they were already scared, and they would believe that anything was the beast. Plus

the pilot did not look normal and it was scary. I didn't like the game that they

played because it was childish, but also dangerous, because he might kill a littlun.

Finally got rescued chapter 12

I finally got to be chief! Everybody is in my tribe! Now all I have to do is get rid

of Ralph! Hes hiding under the thicket. I plan to set the whole forest on fire

because the fire will either burn him to death or make him come out of there. I

can't believe Samneric gave Ralph meat! They were supposed to be loyal to me and

listen to what I say. The reason Samneric joined my tribe is because Roger tortured

them. I'm proud of Roger because he is just like me and he likes to get what he

wants. To hunt Ralph Roger sharpened both ends of the spear. One end is to put into

the ground and the other was to put Ralph's head on. When Ralph ran to the beach to

hide he saw a naval officer. When we saw him we froze. The naval officer asked if we

were playing war games and Ralph answered yes. He asked us if there were any dead

bodies and Ralph said that there were only two. He asked us how many of us there

were and then Ralph just shook his head because he didn't know. Then the naval

officer said, “ for a group of British boys you should at least be organized.” The

naval officer continued talking and asked who was in charge, Ralph stepped forward

and said that he was. I tried to explain to him that now I'm chief but then I backed

away. When we saw that we were going to be rescued Ralph broke out and started

crying. Even though I still hate Ralph, he was right about how the fire was

important.

Piggy says to bring it with them so that they get a chance to speak, and to show they may have

food and are having fun but the don't have leadership or the conch. Piggy want to reason with

jack calmly and ask him for his glasses back. Ralph, Sam , and Erick want to paint there faces

take spears and force him to give his glasses back. When they get to Castle rock they see Roger

and he challenges him to go see Jack but they get pass Roger and see Jack. When they saw Jack

they were talking about who's a good larder or not and jack got tried of it and tried to kill Ralph

then Roger with a delirious look on his face push the rock over the cliff the rock hit Piggy and he

died. Ralph finally got away in the meantime Jack captured Sam and Erick and tied them up and

the were force to be on Jacks tribe. Jack said truculently "Be on my tribe or be tortured". I

believe Jacks responsible for Piggy's death because he was the one who made the boys wild like

savages. He also made himself chief and gave an order that Roger can do whatever he can to

protect the tribe or where there camping at. Jack hates Piggy and calls him names and I think he

could care less if piggy died, also Jack is talisman and loves killing thing

The shell and the Glasses

Title: Jack is the evil one.....

Ever since I was gone the boys have been acting wild and savageness Jack still believes that the

beast is still out there and that the beast was disguise as me. That show that he is obsess with

killing and hunting. Jack says to Maurice and Roger the beast is still out there and when you

hunt give the beast the head. This shows that Jack is really into the beast and he not noticing

that this is all in his imagination. I heard Ralph and Piggy's discussion Ralph is the sensible one. I

can't believe Piggy's said I was batty I was going to tell you guys there was no beast!! Jack and

his hunters went to Ralph and Piggy's shelter at night and Piggy heard a noise somebody went

in and stole Piggy's glasses. So far Jack is getting way out of hand, first he is with the tribe and a

nice kid, then ever since he killed a pig he been controlling, and mean. Now he steal Piggy's

glasses and decides for himself that he is now chef and some people actually listen to him but

some people don't listen to him and they get tortured. I wish I was there to help you Ralph.

Simon's Death :'(

Chapter 9: A View to a Death

In the book there was a lot of sign that Simon was going to die but I never recognize it. Then I

looked more closely into the book I figure out the signs like the pigs head was talking to him. The

lord of the flies was saying that Ralph, Jack, Piggy, and the others would mock him. But what

happen was instead of mocking him he died which I think is a sign. The storm happen when

Simon was going to tell the others that there was no beast but when he went and tried to tell

them, but they killed him. I think the storm symbolizes death and fear because the everyone are

freaked out by the beast and anything that looks strange they will kill. Jack still believes that the

beast is still out there and also thinks that the beast was disguise as Simon which really shows

that Jack really wants to kill the beast. I think its mostly Jacks fault because he's mostly focusing

on the beast and every has a fear that its coming but there is no beast its all in there minds and

that's how Simon dies because they thought he was the beast.

Chapter 6: Beast from water

Dear journal

I don’t feel like the strongest leader anymore people don’t respect me. It’s very stressing when I

tell them to do something and they don’t do it. I told Sam and Erick to keep the fire going and

they were doing there job. As they were doing their job things went wrong first we thought the

beast wasn’t real, now the littleuns believe its there and they saw it. As Sam and Erick were

watching the fire they saw they ran down to tell us best they said it had fangs and claws Jack

said “We shall kill the beast” and told piggy to watch the littleuns I suggested we stay there but

Jack just ran off ahead so I decide why not come with. I don’t believe the best is real it just the

way Sam and Erick described it fangs claws is doesn’t seem real. But sometime late at night I

wonder if there really is a beast is it watching us does it know were here? Is it real? No it…..

Can’t be there’s no such thing as a monster with fangs and claws I am worried that the beast will

find us hunt us down and kill us that is the Question in everybody’s mind. Is the beast real? Will

it find us? Where could it be?

CHAPTER 5: BEAST FROM WATER

Dear journal

I hate Ralph he thinks he’s the most perfect child on earth I don’t even know why he is chef I

don’t think the boys even like him anymore. He was telling us today that we weren’t doing are

job correctly. He acts like he has been doing all the work when really he’s not doing anything he

is just building huts and shelter if he wouldn’t even last two minutes if he was doing my job

hunting is more important then building I bring home the meat I provide food for the others.

Ralph kept on Jeering us about our work. Piggy was also getting on our nerves so I told him to

shut up he said “I got the conch” “I got the conch”. He is so annoying I can’t believe Ralph is

friends with him he doesn’t do anything all Piggy does is annoy every one with his Decorum

and Effigy. Then Ralph brought up the beast thing and you can hear Lamentation from the

littleuns. He said they cry in their sleep maybe because they think there someone watching

them in the sleep or the monster is going to get them. Then Ralph brought up the jobs again, I

get why Ralph would get mad when people go to the bathroom where they want to go but that

the bad thing because it get all over the food. The dirtiest thing about mankind is stubbornness

they do what they want to do not what their told.

The overall mood on this island is very competitive its seems that Jack and Ralph are trying to compete to see who is going to be leader, and I am the one in the middle. I helped find Piggy’s specks today I know that almost every one hate him I figure he has at least one person nice to him. Jack also punched piggy in the stomach and broke his glasses I help him out. Ralf was mad when Jack came back there was a ship and we wanted to see if the ship could see our smoke we went to check out the smoke and it was burn out this was all Jacks fault all he cared about was hunting a pig he finally caught one and felt like a hero but Ralph wasn’t too happy about that. Once Ralf talk to him he apologize then we sated eating the meat I gave Piggy’s mine because he didn’t get any then Jack screamed at me and told me to eat the meat. I think Piggy’s gong to finally stick up for him selfs next time says something it sounds to me that jacks not doing his job I think he just want to do what he want not what Ralph does.

Dear Journal,

I am so tired of every body picking on me mostly Jack he is so mean he tells me to shut up and

calls me fat. Nobody respects me except for Ralph well he has been ignoring me lately every

body else are childish I am only the mature one. Today I watched Ralph and Jack argue Jack

wanted to hut for a pig and Ralph want everybody excepted for hunters help him with the

shelter all the other people are playing (I told you they were childish) or relaxing. It sounds like

they don’t even care if they don’t get rescued. Jack is one of them all he thinks about is being

leader and hunting pig, or killing them its like he is Obsessed with killing. So far it seems that

were not going to survive on this island the only one that are surviving are Ralph, Jack, Simon,

and me. I don’t think the rest are going to survive I hope we do.

Dear Journal, We called in a meeting today and decided who ever has the conch get to speak but Jack was being very errant he kept interrupting Piggy, and I can tell he was getting very annoyed. A little boy asked for the conch and once he got it everybody started laughing after the y settled down the boy said what about the beastie or the snake thing her said he saw it when he was in the dark every started murmuring and getting scared. “There is no beastie” I said “or snake thing it must have been your imagination”. I took the conch back form the little boy and started thinking about how are we going to get off this island I had an idea I shared it with the group of boys “What if we do a smoke signal but first we need to make fire”. As soon as I said fire the capering boys took off running. Piggy tried to act nurture and call them immature kids. We walked up the mountain and tried to figure out how are we going to make fire “Piggy’s glasses” said Jack. I pinch Piggy’s glasses and used the hot sun to make fire “We need more wood” I said. After we got more wood the fire stared to build up a little Piggy ask “Has any one seen that little boy who thought there was a beastie”? “I though you were suppose to watch him” I said I heard an explosion that must have came from the fire. We were all martyred and sad because of the little boy’s death we all blame piggy for it. He say’s he couldn’t keep an eye on all of them but I think he just too lazy.

Dear Journal, Today was a rough day are plane crash and as I was on it I matins

that we would have a good flight and what happen we crash on a island. Well its

better than crashing in the ocean. As we were walking across the hot sand I over

heard that there are no grownups, and that they needed a chef or a leader to

lead them. I proffer the I should be chef but this kid named Ralph just comes

and interrupts me he said he’s friend named piggy and that they were on the

plane that crashed too. “Piggy?” I sniggered at the sound of the name other

people were laughing to. After the laughing died down we decided who was

going to be chef. Ralph decides to let the people choose”. Guess who got picked

chef, Ralph. I still don’t know why I didn’t get elected chief I have all the good

Qualities. I am smart, nice, good hunter, and I am a better leader than Ralph.

What so special about him? All he has is that shell that brought all the boy’s

Together who cares about a dumb shell? I guess the people think I have

Enormity I know because I heard one of the boys say that. We decide to go see

if this was a island or not it was kind of like a hike trip but there were a lot of

fronds. We stated climbing a cliff and had to carry this huge rock once we got

that out of are way we looked around and there was water every where we were

on a island.
